As more states legalize marijuana use, and courts increasingly are deciding cases presenting novel questions of law, employers continue to grapple with the workplace implications of cannabis.  Employers who operate in jurisdictions where medical and/or recreational marijuana use is legal must regularly be evaluating their practices and policies relating to cannabis to ensure compliance with an ever-evolving body of law.  This webinar will tackle the evolving and complex legal landscape relating to cannabis in the workplace, including discussion of state legalization of medical and recreational marijuana, applicant and employee protections and employer obligations under state marijuana and anti-discrimination laws, off-duty use, applicant and employee drug testing, and policy considerations.
