The conflict in the Middle East has increased levels of anti-Jewish and anti-Muslim workplace discrimination and harassment. We also see an increase in related bias against Arabs and Middle Easterners, including Israelis and Palestinians.

This 90-minute program will:

1. Discuss recent EEOC Guidance.
2. Provide a brief history of antisemitism as well as Islamophobia as they relate to work.
3. Explore specific examples of workplace discrimination and harassment based on religion and/or national origin.
4. Discuss policies and procedures for reporting and resolving religious accommodations in light of the Groff decision.
5. Delineate specific responsibilities for leaders relative to discrimination, harassment and accommodations.
6. Focus on special issues involving social media postings and other off-duty conduct.
7. Suggest specific steps DEI programs can take to increase the belonging of Muslim, Jewish and employees of other faiths.
