We will examine the impact of new and proposed laws affecting the workplace in New York (such as new pay transparency laws, expansions to New York’s whistleblower protections, prohibitions of no-fault attendance policies, expansions to the New York Paid Family Leave Law, New York City’s new automated employment decision tools law, changes to the minimum wage and salary exemption thresholds, and more). Attendees will come away with action items for updating their policies and procedures to maximize compliance with the employment law landscape in the Big Apple.
