On April 19, 2024, the long-awaited final regulations implementing the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA) were finally published, providing important compliance guidance to employers. The PWFA regulation (Final Rule) will go into effect on June 18, 2024.
In light of these developments, employers should review their policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the PWFA.
