ADA Reasonable Accommodations – Being “Off-Site” Doesn’t Mean that Accommodation Requests are Off the Table
Course type
Webinar
Course credits
1.5 credits
Course duration
90 minutes

Course Description

Whether your organization has been operating during COVID-19 remotely, in-person or hybrid, an employer must continue to respond to disabled employees’ accommodation requests.   Importantly, employers must be ready to assess whether an employee has a qualifying disability, whether the requested accommodation may reasonably be provided or whether there are alternative accommodations if the requested accommodations are deemed unreasonable.  This webinar will review best practices when responding to employee requests, including related to mental and emotional disabilities.  We will also address the boundaries of and potential opportunities presented by remote work accommodation requests.
