Course Description

The Corporate Equality Index 2022 reports that 91% of all Fortune 500 companies cover gender identity in their U.S. non-discrimination policies, and over half of the companies offer transgender-inclusive benefits. Meanwhile, the “Trans Legislation Tracker” website indicates that 2023 marks the fourth consecutive record-breaking year for anti-trans legislation in the U.S. Public polarization on issues of gender identity and transgender rights are increasingly generating media attention and creating unique challenges for employers implementing policies and practices geared toward inclusion of transgender, transitioning and non-binary employees. This webinar is to assist employers seeking to overcome these challenges, develop trans-inclusive policies, educate their workforce regarding inappropriate behavior related to gender identity, and manage employee gender transitions in a culturally competent manner.
