09:30 am - 11:50 am (EST)
2.0 Credits
Course Description:
This 2-½-hour seminar will review steps that should be taken to effectively implement performance management even in the face of employee medical issues. Using a series of hypothetical scenarios, attendees will consider the extent to which an employer may maintain its performance standards for employees with medical issues, the extent to which accommodations must be provided to address those performance issues as well as at what point an employer may take action for continued performance deficiencies. This seminar will also emphasize ways to reduce the potential for a retaliation claim by consistently treating similarly situated individuals, conducting a prompt investigation of employee concerns regarding failure to properly accommodate and timely utilizing performance management.

This program is part of a full day seminar with the afternoon program of ADA, Pregnancy, and Religious Accommodations. To purchase the full day seminar at the reduced price of $200, please click here.
