Course Description:
Sure, reviewing and revising your Employee Handbook may not be the project about which you’re most excited. But, with so many legal updates and changes in the last few years, this project deserves a place on your list. A well-drafted Handbook can be an effective way to communicate your organization’s policies, standards and values. Handbooks that have not been reviewed and revised recently (or those that are poorly drafted) may create serious problems and unnecessary legal risks. In this morning seminar, designed for Human Resources professionals and In-House Counsel, we will discuss recent changes of the law and common handbook drafting mistakes to avoid.
