In this one hour webinar, we will explore the current state of the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) programs and their likelihood for continuation, as well as review ways that employers of foreign nationals in these programs may be able to assist them through employment-based immigration sponsorship for legal permanent residence. Specifically we will discuss the following:
  • End of TPS and DACA work authorization
  • current status of various court cases involving the 2 programs
  • Employment based sponsorship categories and possibilities
  • The PERM process
  • I-140 and I-485 application process
  • Special green card considerations for TPS and DACA recipients
