Course Description:
This program is designed to help managers, supervisors, human resource professionals and in-house counsel understand the legal and practical issues associated with workplace violence and substance abuse testing. This 2 1/2-hour seminar focuses on not only understanding the potential legal risks to employers of workplace violence and reasonable suspicion substance abuse testing, but also will explore practical measures to deal with these complicated and potentially dangerous situations. The seminar will provide "best practices" in dealing with violence prevention measures and in determining whether a drug or alcohol test is appropriate.
