01:00 pm - 02:00 pm (EST)
1.0 Credits
Course Description:
On its surface, the FMLA seems straightforward – an employee is eligible for a certain amount of unpaid leave (generally up to 12 workweeks) during a designated 12 month leave period for certain covered events. However, HR professionals routinely face the challenges of complying with the FMLA. At times, implementing the FMLA is anything but straightforward.

This webinar is designed to highlight ten common decision-points for employers to ease the strain of FMLA compliance. We will focus on the importance of the medical certification and recertification process, strategies for consolidating leave and available paid time off benefits and best practices to enforce standard attendance and call-out procedures consistent with the FMLA.
